Former Anderson County, SC Sheriff attacked and shot in random hate crime, local media censors story.
Gene Taylor was attacked at random by two black male thugs right in front of his own apartment. They beat him and shot him the leg. The victim was unloading groceries from his car when he was attacked.
The victim in this story is a former County Sheriff and a former employee of WYFF, the largest local media affiliate. Yet this story is a tiny blip in the local news. Imagine if the races were reversed. Imagine if two white thugs attacked and shot a former black County Sheriff. This would be the biggest news story in America. It would be the “racial hate crime of the year.”
WYFF, Taylor’s own former employer, is censoring the story! They are omitting the race of the perpetrators in their on-air coverage. Previously this website editor has talked to the WYFF news room and they openly admit having a policy of censoring black crime. I was even told by a WYFF news room employee that they hold meetings to decide which stories to censor the race of the perpetrator.
WYFF states that these are dangerous at large suspect and help from the public is needed to apprehend them. Yet WYFF censors the physical description of the perp. They only report on clothing the perps had on, which they would no longer be wearing at this point. WYFF feels that political correctness is far more important than public safety. They would rather put the public at greater risk than accurately report the story.
