Obama has spent an estimated two million dollars, not to show a $10 birth certificate.
The Obama Citizenship Controversy Just Won’t Go Away
by Ian Mosley
That pesky Obama birth certificate scandal refuses to go away–or more accurately, the birth certificate just refuses to show up.
An article from Politicalticker reports “Self-proclaimed birther Donald Trump is now so doubtful of President Obama’s birthplace that he’s sent a team of his own investigators to Hawaii in hopes of getting to the bottom of the issue. That’s according to Trump himself, who, in an interview with NBC, warned his investigators just might uncover one of the greatest cons in the history of politics and beyond. ‘I have people that have been studying it and they cannot believe what they’re finding,’ Trump said an interview that aired Thursday Morning. Asked if he has assigned people specifically to search in Hawaii, Trump said, ‘Absolutely.’ The business mogul, who in a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll is tied for second place among potential presidential candidates, also suggested the president is involved in an ongoing cover-up over the matter. ‘He spent $2 million in legal fees trying on to get away from this issue, and if it weren’t an issue, why wouldn’t he just solve it?’ he said. ‘I wish he would because if he doesn’t, it’s one of the greatest scams in the history of politics and in the history, period. You are not allowed to be a president if you’re not born in this country. Right now, I have real doubts.’ ”
Perhaps one reason Donald Trump is polling near the top for Republican candidates is that he doesn’t treat the people who doubt Obama’s citizenship as if they’re stupid little children or as if they’re crazy. We’ve had the arrogant liberal media pretend that there’s nothing wrong with Obama’s birth certificate for almost three years now even though a Democrat and former District Attorney Philip J. Berg raised a number of serious issues about Obama’s citizenship even before the 2008 November election. Berg was a Hillary Clinton supporter, and he wanted Obama’s foreign-born butt out of the primary so Hillary could run.
The article notes “According to a recent CNN/Opinion Research Corporation national poll, 72 percent of Americans say that the president was definitely or probably born in the U.S., with one (in) four saying that he was definitely or probably born outside the country. But the survey indicates a partisan divide, with 43 percent of Republicans but only 11 percent of Democrats saying that Obama was definitely or probably born outside the U.S.”
In other words, facts don’t matter; it’s a political and ideological thing. But then, who cares how many Americans believe what? It’s irrelevant. This is a matter of fact that should be easily ascertainable and would be in the case of anyone but Barack Hussein Obama. Either he was born in Hawaii or elsewhere in this country and was issued a proper birth certificate, or he was not. This is a matter of reality. Whether something is true or not should not be decided by a popularity contest (especially when the liberal media has been insisting that Obama was born in Hawaii despite the glaring absence of a long form birth certificate).
If Obama were born in the United States, then the whole thing would have been resolved back in 2008 when the issue first came up. Why wasn’t it?
Why does the state of Hawaii repeatedly make the claim that the unsigned and unnumbered and unverifiable “Certificate of Live Birth” (COLB) waved aloft by the Obama groupies constitutes legal proof when in point of fact; it doesn’t. It sounds like it’s a birth certificate, but the state of Hawaii issues the COLB to Hawaiian parents even if their child was born in a foreign land. In the case of Obama, his mother was below the legal age to pass citizenship onto her child and the father was a Kenyan so if Obama were born in Kenya, he would be a Kenyan citizen, not a US citizen. But because he had a Hawaiian parent, Obama could still get the Hawaiian COLB even though he’s NOT a US citizen.
Recently a records clerk from the state of Hawaii has gone public and stated that there is no Obama birth certificate in Hawaii. It’s an open secret among the many Democrat hacks filling up that bureaucracy. Don’t you think the hospital where Obama was born, would want to claim credit for him and maybe put a bronze plaque in the lobby that says “Obama was born here” and arrange a CNN interview with any surviving nurses or interns, who remembered the event?
The only scrap of evidence the pro-Obama crowd can point to is a newspaper article put in two Hawaiian papers. These ads have absolutely zero legal value by the way. What the liberals fail to realize is that the grandmother could have phoned in those ads as her daughter was giving birth halfway around the world in Kenya. According to WorldNetDaily, the ads don’t say where Barack Hussein Obama was born and the ads get the street address wrong for Ann Stanley Dunham-Obama, which is further evidence that the grandmother phoned in the ads since Obama’s mother presumably knew where she lived.
I never cared too much for Donald Trump, and I still don’t care too much for Donald Trump, but if he can blow the lid off Barry Soetoro’s illegal occupation of the Oval Office, he’ll be my hero for a day.
